Sarah's Journey to Medicine
“Early in my college education, I realized that medicine was my calling and changed my major from education. I took a job at a hospital in Denton which allowed me to meet some amazing Physician Assistants and Doctors. I did whatever it took to see that I had the best exposure in order to make the best career choice for myself. My greatest learning experiences took place within the ER where I was given the opportunity to observe and work alongside a 15-year veteran to the Physician Assistant world. At that point, I realized that being a Physician Assistant was what I was meant to do. I love caring for others and building relationships with patients and families that will last for years to come.”
Sarah and her family live in Argyle. They have three young kids, Hawkins and twins Emmie & Foster, as well as two Wheaten Terriers (Addison and Clutch). She grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma and loves Oklahoma State football. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends. She loves serving others- in a medical setting, mission field, or at church. Other hobbies include crafts, photography, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
