Educational background: Dr. Fitzgerald attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed his residency training at Wilford Hall Medical Center in the United States Air Force.  He received his license in 1990 and is Board Certified in pediatrics.

History with MD Pediatrics: He has been practicing with our team since 1996 and sees patients primarily in the Flower Mound office. His medical interests include sports injury prevention and asthma maintenance.

Fun facts: He and his wife Saundra have three children: Sarah, Laura and Jeffrey.  Dr. Fitz is a fitness buff.  He enjoys being the team doctor for the ’94 D’Feeters soccer club.
