Educational background: Dr. Meehan received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Howard University and attended medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. After completing her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern/Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, she served as a pediatrician in the National Health Service Corps for two years in Louisiana.

History with MD Pediatric Associates: The newest addition to MD Pediatrics, Dr. Meehan joined our team in November, 2011,  at the Flower Mound office. Her special interests in medicine include asthma and obesity.

Fun facts: Dr. Meehan has volunteered as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. She enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Cesar and Bentley.
